We are career women, we are stay at home moms.  We are from town or new to the community.  We are married, we are single.  We are a diverse group of women working toward the same goal of making a positive impact in our community.

For 75 years, the Junior League of Waterloo-Cedar Falls has sought to improve life in the Cedar Valley.  Countless lives have been touched through the volunteer efforts and financial resources contributed by Junior League.

Our local membership is approximately 280 women strong, including New Member, Active, and Sustaining members, representing a broad range of backgrounds and interests.  As a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, we serve alongside 292 Junior Leagues throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Great Britain and have a collective membership of approximately 160,000 women.

In spring 2015, the Junior League of Waterloo-Cedar Falls piloted the YOLO Youth Empowerment Series (YOLO Y.E.S.) at Bunger Middle School. The series was composed of four events and taught life skills such as healthy living, financial literacy, and deciding on a career. Approximately 20 students participated in the inaugural series. In 2015-16, YOLO Y.E.S. will be expanded to span across the fall and spring semesters.
