The Junior League of Waterloo-Cedar Falls invites you to the Little Black Dress Initiative Luncheon on Thursday, October 19, 2023, 11:30am-1:30pm at the Waterloo Convention Center. Doors open at 11am.

Meal: Chicken Marsala (sautéed Chicken Breast & Mushrooms tossed with Marsala Wine Sauce) over Lemon Pepper Linguini, Green Beans, Caesar Salad & Garlic Breadstick. Dairy Free/Gluten Free and Vegetarian Options available. Please select the appropriate ticket option at checkout.

The Little Black Dress Initiative is an awareness campaign around the challenges facing teens today and specifically in the Cedar Valley. Members will wear the same black dress or t-shirt the entire week to raise this awareness. Funds raised throughout the week during our social media campaign, luncheon tickets and silent auction proceeds will go towards this cause.

The luncheon will feature speaker Hanna Nuss of Denver, Iowa. Hanna is the founder of Local., podcaster, and author. She will focus on the field of opportunities in Iowa and the possibilities in rural communities.
